By means of extensive experience in balancing organs and methods, along with other detailed experience within Combustion Optimization, DONG Energy has been able to use the system with positive results at more than one area. Coal balancing took us dozens of days in the past. Using PROMECON technology boiler tuning can be finished within a week and raises the quality of combustion. We have improved the combustion quality of biomass co-firing by using the MECONTROL Coal system for fuel balancing at our Amager plant.
